Precision Tube
Overview
The Precision Tube range in Pre-Gal finish are light galvanised steel sections that offer the advantage of better protection against the elements over traditional primer painted products. Available in square, rectangular, circular and rain sections.
Pre-Gal products in the Precision range are manufactured using a fully hot-dip galvanising process to a thickness of 50g/m².per side (z100). This means the products are galvanised on the inside as well as the outside.
Pre-Gal products are manufactured to stringent standards so you’re protected no matter which way you look at it.
Precision Tube is lighter in thickness and is perfect for projects where lighter weights are required. Our Precision Tube sizes include 16 O.D. to 19 O.D. in round tube, 13 SQ to 65 x 65 in square tube, 38 x 25 to 100 x 50 in rectangular tube and 53 x 35 to 115 x 42 in oval rail. Wall thickness range is from 1.2 to 1.8mm.
Precision Tube is used in a variety of applications and no special processes are required for preparation for welding or top-coats. Precision Tube can also be powder coated without difficulty.
